1. All Sales Are Final
Due to the perishable and consumable nature of baking mixes, and in accordance with Cottage Food safety regulations, all sales are final, non-returnable, and non-refundable once the product has been shipped. However, we offer refunds or replacements only under the following conditions:
- Your product arrived damaged due to shipping.
- You received an incorrect item in your order.
If you experience any issues with your order, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can assist you promptly.
2. Returns & Refund Eligibility
We only accept refund or replacement requests under these conditions:
2.1 Damaged Items
If your package arrives physically damaged (e.g., torn packaging, punctured pouch, visible leakage), please follow these steps:
- Take clear photos of the damaged item(s), including the outer packaging.
- Email us at [email protected] with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos showing both the damage and the outer packaging
- We will review your request and respond within 3 business days with next steps.
⚠️ No returns are typically required for items that arrive damaged during shipment — we’ll gladly offer a replacement or refund at our discretion. However, Mochi Cloud Sweets LLC reserves the right to request a return of the product for further inspection in certain cases.
2.2 Incorrect Items Received
If you received the wrong product, please:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
- Provide a photo of the incorrect item and your order details.
- We will provide a prepaid return label for the incorrect item (if necessary).
- Once the incorrect item is confirmed as returned (if required), we will send you the correct product or issue a refund.
Please note: If the incorrect item is not returned as instructed, we reserve the right to deny a refund or future shipments.
3. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items
We do not accept returns or refunds for the following reasons:
- Customer preference (e.g., “I didn’t like the taste or smell” or “not what I expected”) — Subjective reactions to product characteristics, including the natural scent of the dry mix or the flavor/texture of the final baked item, do not constitute product defects and are not grounds for refund.
- Baking results — Variability in baking conditions and techniques may affect final product outcome. Dissatisfaction with taste, texture, smell, or appearance does not qualify as a product defect and is not eligible for refund.
- Incorrect shipping address provided by the customer.
- Delays caused by the shipping carrier or external circumstances beyond our control.
- Opened or tampered packages — Due to the consumable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns of any items that appear opened, tampered with, or improperly stored after delivery. We reserve the right to deny refunds in such cases.
- Expired refund window — Refund requests submitted more than 48 hours after delivery will not be accepted. Customers are responsible for inspecting the product promptly upon receipt.
4. Refund Processing
- If a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
- If a replacement is sent, you will receive a new tracking number once shipped.
- Once a refund is processed, please allow 5–10 business days for the funds to appear on your original payment method.
- Refunds and replacements are issued at the sole discretion of Mochi Cloud Sweets LLC.
