Your Questions About Mochi Cloud Sweets, Answered
Orders & Shipping
Q1. Where do you ship?
We currently ship within California only, in accordance with state Cottage Food Operation regulations.
If you’re located outside of California and would love to try our products, we invite you to join our Out-of-State Interest List below.
When enough interest gathers for a wider launch, you’ll be the first to know!
Q2. What is your shipping schedule?
Orders follow a weekly production and fulfillment schedule:
Orders placed by Saturday 11:59 PM (Pacific Time)
→ ship out on Monday
Orders placed after the cutoff
→ ship the following Monday
This allows us to maintain consistent quality and ensure every order is packed fresh.
Q3. How long will delivery take?
Once your order ships on Monday, most California destinations receive their package within 1–4 business days, depending on the carrier and location.
You’ll receive tracking information as soon as your package is on its way. If you don’t see it, please check your email’s Spam or Promotions folder, or contact us at [email protected].
Q4. Do you offer expedited shipping?
At this time, we don’t offer expedited or rush processing.
All orders follow our weekly schedule and ship out on Mondays, and most California orders arrive within 1–4 business days once they’re with the carrier.
If you’re planning for a special occasion, we recommend placing your order at least two weeks in advance so you have plenty of time for both our production schedule and carrier delivery.
Product Questions
Q1. Why are your baking mixes more expensive than mainstream options?
Our mixes cost more because we hold a much higher bar for what goes into your food.
Every ingredient we use is clean, naturally derived, gentle on the body, and chosen because it meets our own standards for taste, texture, and metabolic friendliness — the same standards we use when making food for ourselves and our families.
We don’t rely on common keto staples like almond flour, coconut flour, or heavy sugar alcohols. Instead, we source the best ingredients that come from simple, whole sources (organic options whenever possible) like plant fibers, allulose, monk fruit, and real fruit powders.
None of our mixes contain preservatives, dyes, fillers, or stabilizers.
Just clean ingredients that feel good, taste good, and support a balanced, feel-good way of living.
At the heart of Mochi Cloud Sweets is a simple promise: we make food the same way we want to eat it ourselves — joyful, gentle, and without compromise.
Q2. What makes Mochi Cloud Sweets different from other low-carb mochi recipes?
Most “low-carb” or “keto mochi” recipes rely on large amounts of psyllium husk mixed with coconut flour or oat fiber. While these ingredients can create stretch, they come with a noticeable earthy taste, a rough, grainy texture, and an unappetizing color that looks nothing like real mochi.
Our mixes take a different approach. We use a thoughtful combination of plant fibers and naturally-derived gelling ingredients to create a smooth, clean-tasting, bouncy mochi dough — without the gritty appearance, the psyllium smell or flavor, or the mushy texture you may have experienced in other recipes.
The result is a dough that feels soft in your hands, stretches beautifully, and keeps its shape even when pan-toasted (think mitarashi dango!). It’s the closest experience to traditional mochi we’ve ever seen in a low-carb format.
Q3. Do you offer wholesale or retail partnerships?
Thank you for your interest in bringing Mochi Cloud Sweets to your customers. We’d love to learn more about what you have in mind.
If you’re interested in stocking our products, please reach out to support@mochicloudsweets.com with your store details. We’ll be happy to share more information and explore whether we’re a good fit for each other.
Q4. How should I store my Mochi Cloud Sweets baking mixes?
Our baking mixes are crafted without preservatives or stabilizers, so the way you store them makes a difference.
Unopened bags stay fresh for at least 6 months from the date of purchase.
Once opened, we recommend using your mix within 30 days.
To keep everything at its best, store your mix in a cool, dry place and make sure the bag is sealed tightly after each use. Because we also don’t use stabilizers or additives, the ingredients can naturally absorb moisture over time, and proper storage helps maintain that soft, bouncy mochi texture.
Q5. Are your baking mixes made to order?
Yes. All of our baking mixes are prepared in small batches and packed fresh to order.
We don’t mass-produce or store large warehouse runs.
It’s the same level of thoughtfulness we put into our ingredients and formulations—fresh, consistent, and made with intention.
Nutrition & Ingredients
Q1. What sweeteners do you use? Do your mixes contain sugar alcohols?
We sweeten our mixes with allulose and monk fruit, two premium sweeteners that are gentle on blood sugar, without the harsh aftertaste many people associate with “diet” desserts.
We intentionally avoid sugar alcohols such as erythritol, xylitol, and maltitol. While they’re common in many sugar-free products (and often more affordable as ingredients), they can cause digestive discomfort for some people and sometimes leave a cooling, artificial taste.
Our goal is that every bite feels good in the moment and sits well afterward. By choosing allulose + monk fruit instead of sugar alcohols, we’re investing in ingredients that let you enjoy your treats with both peace of mind and a happier tummy.
Q2. Does your baking mix contain nuts? Any allergens I should be aware of?
All of our mixes are nut-free. We don’t use any almond flour, nut flours, or nut-derived ingredients.
Our ingredient list is intentionally simple and built around plant fibers, naturally-derived gelling ingredients, and premium, natural sugar substitutes such as allulose and monk fruit.
For the most accurate and up-to-date allergen and ingredient information, please refer to the packaging label shown on each product page. Our labels always reflect the latest formulation.
If you have any specific questions, feel free to reach out anytime—we’re always happy to help.
Q3. Are your mixes gluten-free and low-carb?
Yes. All of our mixes are naturally gluten-free and created with mindful, low-carb eaters in mind.
We do not use wheat, barley, or any gluten-containing ingredients.
Instead, our recipes are built around plant fibers, speciality resistant starches, naturally-derived gelling ingredients, and clean sweeteners like allulose and monk fruit.
Each mix is formulated to deliver low net carbs without the dense, gritty textures that many gluten-free alternatives are known for. For exact nutrition numbers and net-carb details, you can always refer to the Nutrition Facts panel on each product page.
Q4. What are net carbs and how are they calculated?
“Net carbs” simply refer to the carbohydrates that your body can actually digest and absorb.
Since dietary fiber and allulose are not absorbed the same way as regular sugars or starches, we subtract them from the total carbohydrate count.
Net Carbs = Total Carbs – Dietary Fiber – Allulose
This gives you a clearer idea of the carbs that truly impact your body.
All of our mixes are designed to keep net carbs low while still giving you the soft, bouncy mochi texture you love.
For the exact numbers, you can always check the Nutrition Facts panel on each product page.
